    I don’t understand how a twink can equip gear that is above their level (requires lvl 60 or at lvl 50 for example)

      Item level is not the same as required level. I assume you are talking about “Furbolg Medicine Pouch” and to obtain this item you need to be in the same party who is grinding for the faction, however you need to stay dead (or else you will receive xp). In ghost state you still will receive rep.
