Our WoW Classic Engineering Guide has been tested on many different servers and is on average the cheapest way to reach level 300. Engineering is hands down the best profession in WoW Classic for PvP and PvE so for any serious player it's a must have profession.

Gnomish Engineering or Goblin Engineering
A lot of players level engineering up to level 200 and are stuck on comparing Gnomish Engineering vs Goblin Engineering. Both offer great tools that you will want to make use of. If you followed our Engineering guide from 1-300 you will have noticed that have not given you a suggestion on what to pick yet. That's because either is fine. All the essential items are BoE which means you can buy them from someone or on the auction house and still use them. The heavy stone requirement is different in the list of mats vs the actual crafting guide.
Also the thorium widget doesn’t require thorium tubes. Just 3 thorium bars and 1 runecloth.
