A lot of players level engineering up to level 200 and are stuck on comparing Gnomish Engineering vs Goblin Engineering. Both offer great tools that you will want to make use of. If you followed our Engineering guide from 1-300 you will have noticed that have not given you a suggestion on what to pick yet. That's because either is fine. All the essential items are BoE which means you can buy them from someone or on the auction house and still use them. Not all items can be used with both specialisations though so you have to keep that in mind. Here is a list of the exclusive items sorted by BoE (usable with both specialisations) and BoP:
